Bravo is a 15 month old German Shepherd rescued from the North Central shelter. He is playful but calm, very handler-focused, a little timid upon first meeting someone new but warms up quickly, very intelligent and a quick learner, very treat-motivated, and eager to problem solve and learn new skills. He enjoys riding in the car and has been in multiple situations with other dogs, where he has done well. However, if there are too many dogs, and/or they are too high-energy, he will run away from them. Bravo is a complete lovebug once he knows that someone is trustworthy, which typically takes a few minutes and a couple of treats, and will be a loving and loyal family member.
Bravo has been around children of varying ages in a dog park and was very respectful. Considerate children of any age with proper dog skills training could be appropriate for him. He has not been cat tested but could potentially reside with them if tested and appropriately trained, based on observation. Bravo is in the Los Angeles area, California.
